During Trisha B.’s 25+ year tenure in the Art, Fashion, and Entertainment industries, she has worn a variety of fashionable hats: contributing artist/writer, behind-the-scenes management and consultancy roles, as well as a long stint in front of the camera. She holds a B.A. in English from Rollins College, where she also studied art technique and design. In the eight years that followed, Trisha divided her efforts between commercial writing, design and teaching positions in the US, while continuing her art studies throughout Western Europe. A twist of fate in her professional life drew her into the international modeling world, and she has appeared in thousands of campaigns and editorial publications. “Not exactly a household name,” she jokes about this segue, “but richer for the journey of collaborating with that caliber of outstanding talent, style and culture from all over the world.” This experience drove home the point: It’s all in how we wear the details.

In 2008, her husband gifted her with a jewelry techniques course at Art Center South Florida, studying under acclaimed silversmith Leslie LaCombe; thus, a new endeavor was born. As each one-of-a-kind piece is handmade, signed and dated, she continues to develop alternative stone-setting techniques that complement overall design in conjunction with the color play, shape, and cut of each precious and semi-precious stone. “I’ve never been much of a diamond girl, for they’re prized for their flawlessness. Life isn’t perfect, but it can be gorgeous because of its little flaws and incongruities, not to mention being oh-so colorful!”

Whereas Trisha’s Wearable Art series is reminiscent of storied moments captured in precious metal and stones, it is in Trisha’s unique line of Cufflinks where both men and women alike can literally carry their art on their sleeves. Taking her design cue from the Pacific Northwest, where she lived for a handful of years before returning to her hometown of Miami to raise her family, she explains: “All that breathtaking architecture and art in public places – a nice blend of classical and modern human design - surrounded by the richness of nature…a harmoniously bold and timeless statement.” This stylistic balance of linearity and organic form is reflected throughout the collection.
